My BFF Katrina is an AMAZING writer. She writes creative things, business things, and important things like grants for hospitals, theaters, non-profits and such. Like I said… AMAZING. She recently got a fantastic opportunity and needed some professional portraits. We decided to take some slightly more creative shots as well for her creative writing personality. Enjoy and I can’t wait to do more pictures soon!

What do you do if you have been married for a while but want to recreate the feeling of love with your significant other through photographs? Easy answer…do a Still In Love portrait session. The goal with this session was a little bit pretty, a little bit romantic. We went with softer tones to display the love after many years of marriage. Curious about the sun’s position? We started our session before 6 am on a beautiful summer morning…perfect.
On a side note, I showed my grandpa (who is a fabulous photographer) these images. I tried to explain what I was trying to acheive with the sun kissing photos and he replies, “oh, so I guess it didn’t quite work out.” Always in love of a review, I replied that no it didn’t quite work out as planned BUT I still love the images how they did turn out. Anything that portrays a beautiful sun soaked morning full of love works for me in my book. (:
